Binance Features Scroll (SCR) on Launchpool Ahead of Listing

The world’s largest crypto exchange by trading volume, Binance, has announced Scroll (SCR) as the 60th project on its Launchpool.

Scroll is a Layer 2 solution leveraging Zero-Knowledge Ethereum Virtual Machine (zkEVM) and ZK-Rollup technologies to enhance the performance of the Ethereum blockchain. The network aims to facilitate more scalable, efficient, and secure blockchain applications in DeFi, gaming, and NFTs.

Scroll’s Token on Binance Launchpool and Pre-Market

According to an announcement on October 7, Binance has rolled out its Scroll (SCR) airdrop via Launchpool. The exchange invited users to lock their BNB and FDUSD in separate pools to farm SCR tokens over two days, from midnight (UTC) on October 9 to 23:59 (UTC) on October 10.

As of October 7, the total and maximum supply for SCR is 1,000,000,000 tokens, with   55,000,000 (5.5%) allocated for the Binance Launchpool rewards. When listed on Binance for pre-market and spot trading, the token will debut with an initial circulating supply of 190,000,00 SCR (19% of the supply).

Binance said it would list SCR on October 11 at 10:00 (UTC) and enable pre-market trading with the SCR/USDT trading pair. The exchange didn’t clarify when pre-market trading would end or when the token would be listed for spot trading.

Per the announcement, only master accounts and regular user accounts will be allowed to trade Scroll (SCR) in the pre-market. During this period, the token’s withdrawal, transfer, and deposit functionalities will be suspended.

As for the Launchpool, users residing in the U.S., Crimea Region, Australia, Canada, North Korea, Japan, and other excluded areas won’t be allowed to participate in the program.
