Matet de Leon Finally Snaps Over Inheritance Drama & Sends Strong Message to Critics
MATET DE LEON – Amid the ongoing dispute involving the children of the late Nora Aunor, Matet de Leon finally addressed the issue and did not hold back.
Actress Matet de Leon has finally spoken out against online critics who continue to comment on the ongoing inheritance dispute involving her siblings, Lotlot de Leon and Ian de Leon. The controversy stems from issues surrounding the estate of the late Superstar and National Artist Nora Aunor, which has drawn significant public attention in recent weeks.
In a TikTok video shared by Matet, where she was lip-syncing to the song “Banal Na Aso, Santong Kabayo,” a netizen left a comment expressing hope that the family would settle the matter privately.
“[S]akin lang nmn tama na, sana maresolve privately,” the netizen commented.
Matet did not hesitate to respond, expressing frustration over the repeated discussions about inheritance and the assumptions being made by the public.
“Kami ba ang gago? O ang mga tao? Nananahimik kami. Mana ng mana. Nakaka suka naaaaaaa!” said Matet.
The actress further emphasized that she sees no reason to resolve anything and urged people to stop interfering in matters they do not fully understand.
“Wala kami ire resolve. Ayoko mag resolve. Manahimik na lang mga kupal na nagco comment na akala eh alam lahat. Ok na yun,” Matet said.
She ended her remarks with a blunt statement regarding her brother Ian.
“Wala akong pakialam kay Ian.”
The issue gained further attention after Lotlot de Leon publicly addressed what she described as false statements allegedly made by Ian. In an emotional response, Lotlot expressed disappointment over claims that she said were untrue.
“Enough! Enough with the lies! Tahimik ako, tahimik si Matet, si Kiko at si Ken. Wala na kaming sinasabi, and then you go out on a TV show and tell everyone na sinabi mo sa amin, which is not true,” said Lotlot.
Ian later responded through his Facebook page, rejecting the accusations and defending himself against the claims.
“Enough with the lies? You stop. You stop telling lies especially to my dad,” Ian said.
As the public exchange continues, many fans hope that the family will eventually find a peaceful resolution to the highly publicized dispute.
